Event Information

What was Astral Central 2024?

Astral Central 2024 was a virtual convention hosted on Roblox at the Vector Event Center. The event was a celebration of community, inspiration, diversity, and fun! There are 2 main parts of any Astral Central, the Showcase Booths and Presentations.Showcase Booths are stands put together by outside development groups which act as a showcase for their groups, games, and assets. Some even sell merchandise or offer sneak peeks at upcoming projects!Additionally, there are several different presentations on two different stages. The Origin Stage, located near the front of the event center, hosts the convention's Opening Ceremony alongside smaller panel sessions. But near the back of the event center is the Magnitude Hall. The Magnitude Hall holds over 1,000 people, and is used for our main presentations, including those given by other organizations! It also hosts the Resonance Awards, a community-nominated and voted awards show specifically for the Roblox Sci-Fi Community.2024's event included 50 Showcase Booths from 43 Event Insiders, several different group presentations from organizations such as Bunker Bravo Interactive, the return of the Resonance Awards and much more!

Blue Cell Studio

Blue Cell Studio is a studio run by DrMaher. Their current main focus is on creating Innovation Moon Base, an Innovation project based on exploring an operating a moon colony. Tune in to hear about Blue Cell, their projects, and to hear more about Moon Base!

Bunker Bravo Interactive

Bunker Bravo Interactive is a multi-platform software and game development publishing company. They've partnered with several other groups with booths at AC24, including Light Incorporated, Omega Laboratories Innovators, and Nuclear Engineering Corporation. Tune in to hear about their partners, new BBI content, and their administrative suite Guardsman!

Sci-Fi or Bust Cast Panel

Join elevatorz and members of the cast of his series Sci-Fi or Bust as they discuss the project and its future live on stage! Hear about some funny off-camera moments, project updates, and get your questions answered by the cast and crew before the release of the next episode!

Solaris Development Group

The talented team behind Roblox Sci-fi classic a core game takes the stage at Astral Central 2024! Join the group's owner, nodoubt99, as they discuss the history of the group, how the group has been over the last few years, and progress updates on the long awaited 0.6 update.

Base Tools Corporation

MrTools_Dev takes the stage at AC24 to present a keynote all about Base Tools Corporation! Base Tools is known for their outstanding builds, including their booths for Astral Central 2023 and 2024. Tune in to hear about the group, their projects (including Wilson Atomic Research Site), and what the future looks like for this amazing organization!

We've got something exciting we can't quite tell you about. Stay tuned in the Magnitude Hall, sit back, relax, and be ready to end off the year with a bang!This will be the start of something special for Astral and its future. Trust us, you will NOT want to miss this!

Send your questions in the Discord server, and we'll answer them live on stage.This session is meant for Astral projects such as Galileo Research Complex. Coming back for its 3rd year, the Resonance Awards are a community-driven award show hosted by Astral Industries to celebrate the best and brightest developers, community members, games, and groups in the Roblox Sci-Fi community.Join us live on stage as we reveal 2024's winners for the community's best of the best!

The Best and Brightest in Roblox Sci-Fi.

Coming back for its 3rd year, the Resonance Awards are a community-driven award show hosted by Astral Industries to celebrate the best and brightest developers, community members, games, and groups in the Roblox Sci-Fi community.Voting takes place in 2 phases:1. Open Nomination (November 1 - 28)
Community members nominate any game, project, developer, etc. for whatever awards they would like. Once submissions are received, the Astral Industries staff team will go through each category and put together the best 4-6 nominees for Phase 2 voting. An optional survey about demographics and opinions on the event is also attached.2. Final Voting (December 1 - 22)
A simple ballot with the nominees of each category used to determine the final winner of each category. If a tie occurs, the winner was decided by a vote of the Polaris Media event staff team. If that vote ties, AstraX2 would have broken the tie.After both rounds of voting were completed, the winners were announced LIVE on stage at the 2024 Resonance Awards at the conclusion of Astral Central 2024!
